EOhippus has entertained large audiences at festivals and special events throughout Colorado; performing numerous shows for the Denver Art Museum, Taste of Colorado, City Park Jazz, Breckenridge Jazz Festival, Cherry Creek Arts Festival, and the Colorado Mountain Winefest.   The band has appeared at many night clubs including The Soiled Dove, Jazz@Jack’s, Dazzle, Herb’s Hideout and on and on.

EOhippus’ music swings with good energy and lively rhythms to be enjoyed by people of all ages; for sitting back and taking it in or jumping to your feet and moving your hips.   

EOhippus’ debut album, Evolution, has been well received by audiences across the state. Their second album, Get On, has the same fusion of cross genre tunes that have defined the band. This CD is the culmination of years of musical artistry, friendship and dedication.

 

 Meet the band

 

 

Bill Kerr (guitar)

Bill studied at the Berklee College of Music in Boston and later received his degree in music from the University of Denver. 

Bill has the ability to cross between genres with ease and brings with him an extensive background in the music industry.  Bill owned and operated Kerr/Macy Music Group, one of Denver’s top recording studios, in the 90’s.

Bill’s influences include Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Larry Carlton, Lee Ritenour, Al Di Meola, John Scofield and Allan Holdsworth.

 

 

 

 

 

George Brangoccio plays bass and has created and performed with many of Colorado’s top bands. His years of experience on drums and percussion bring a special sense of rhythm to the bass. He excels at musical arranging which contributes to EOhippus’ unique quality. 

 

 

 

 

Percussionist Bruce Crisman is a veteran of the Colorado Jazz Scene and has performed with many of Colorado’s top Jazz musicians for the past 25 years. Performing for 12 years as the Bruce Crisman Quartet, he earned a great following of local music lovers. Bruce has studied with many masters of percussion as well as performing with many great musicians through the years.

 

 

 

 

Jim Robischon is a veteran club and concert performer and plays keyboard for EOhippus. Jim has played with some of Denver’s most popular groups. His musical compositions contribute to EOhippus’ distinct sound.
